About supercast

Supercast is a social media client for power users, brands and content creators built on Farcaster protocol.

We started in November 2023 and quickly grew to being the second largest Farcaster app, right after the original Farcaster client, Warpcast.

Farcaster is a decentralized twitter/reddit alternative, built on crypto rails and growing very fast.

Supercast is a key app in the ecosystem, generating between 10% to 20% of the whole traffic on the network at the peak times.

Supercast gathers a large community and is one of the most recognizable brands in the ecosystem.

By working on supercast you will get exposure to the frontier of crypto, silicon valley startup culture and decentralized social media.

We want to help grow Farcaster to 1 billion users as quickly as possible.

Your role

Tech stack: Next.js, React, Typescript, wemv, Tailwind CSS, shadcn, Farcaster, Postgres, Vercel, Privy, Neynar, Trigger + whatever new tech is needed

Responsibilities:

• 100% shipping new features for thousands of daily active users
• The app may grow to 10-100k’s daily active users over next years
• At the job you will face both scaling problems and crypto UX problems — handling issues and making decisions on implementing embedded wallets, account abstraction or building Farcaster indexers

Work environment:

• Split between remote and in-person in Spaces

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Next.js, React, Postgres, Tailwind CSS and experience deploying applications on Vercel
